The Dark is Rising rivals even the fabled Harry Potter! It's main character Will Stanton undergoes many a trial on his journey to collect the 6 signs The sign of Iron, Bronze, Wood, Stone, Fire, and Water. They will eventually aid the light for when the dark comes rising for it's last attempt to control the earth.
