I LOVE this book! I read the second book of this series because I did not know there was one before it, so I decided to go back to this one before I went on. This story tells about a family's everyday life in the Big Woods. The characters are Mary, Laura, and baby Carrie (The three sisters) and Ma and Pa. This story also explains the troubles they have living in the Big Woods. I think Laura Ingalls Wilder did a great job with this book.
