The scarlet fever takes away many things, but for Helen Keller it took her abilities to hear and see. Only with a ton of dedication and a heart of determination can she overcome these difficulties. Have a peek into Helen's life from early childhood to college. The world Helen creates is fantastic and new.

This is not the cover of the Helen Keller I read. The one I read was actually by Helen Keller.

I read this book and I remember being fascinated by Helen Keller mainly because I could relate to her (except the blindness)
